Kim Isherwood

Hi, I'm Kim. First and foremost I am a mother. Fiercely passionate about child protection and safeguarding. I hold a wealth of qualifications and experience in safeguarding children and vulnerable people. I am a graduate of Criminology and Social Policy B.Sc hons and I have a post graduate Master of Arts (MA) degree in Applied Criminal Justice and Criminology. I am a fully accredited Relationship and Sexuality Education (RSE) teacher trainer. I use these qualifications to design & deliver robust sexual safeguarding. ​

High functioning neuro diversity; ADHD and ASD, has been a big part of my life, having lived with it almost as long as I have been alive, it has helped me to develop a quality, allowing me to spot magic amongst chaos.

My special interest include; child sex abuse, institutional child sex abuse, exploitation, harmful sexual behaviour, child offenders and crimes against children. Being proactive in the additional needs community, I am not afraid of hard work and I am always ready to ask the questions others will not.
